Terms Of Business

Bookings, Rates & Payment

  • All services are charged at a rate of £18.00 per hour Monday to Friday, and £20.00 per hour on Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays. Services are available between 8am and 6pm.

  • Bookings can be made by completing the contact form, sending an email to [email protected], or by call or text to 07821 475911

  • Services are invoiced on a fortnightly basis with payment due strictly by return.

Definition Of Services

  • Our services are designed to provide domestic support. We do not give advice or recommendations. We are not care providers so we are limited to the tasks that fall within the remit of a home help. Put simply, in our case these tasks are; cleaning, preparing meals, organising and sorting, companionship and activities such as crafting, flower arranging or model building.

  • Our chair based exercise service is a standalone service covered by it's own professional indemnity and public liability insurance. Our domestic services are covered by public liability insurance.

Cancellations

  • We appreciate as much notice of cancellations as is possible. We understand that holidays and appointments crop up, however, should a regular slot repeatedly be cancelled, we would be unable to guarantee that slot going forward.

  • For bookings cancelled within 24 hours, a 50% cancellation charge will be applied, although this is at the discretion of the business principal.

Equipment & Materials

  • For regular housework clients we generally use your own cleaning supplies, mop, and vacuum cleaner. If the client has insufficient supplies, we can provide them if necessary.

  • We provide basic PPE to carry out our domestic tasks such as disposable gloves, masks and tabards.

Health & Safety

  • Please do let us know if anything is likely to cause a hazard. For example planned works, loose fittings, faulty appliances etc.

  • Please inform us of any potentially dangerous illnesses or infectious diseases so that we can make informed choices and decisions.

Complaints

  • In the highly unlikely event that you are in any way unhappy with our service, please address your concerns in writing, for the attention of Mrs T West to [email protected] and we will aim to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution within 7 working days.

Credentials (Our Owner)

  • I hold both Disclosure and Barring and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Certificates. (Safeguarding is renewed every 2 years) as well as certificates in Level 2

    Nutrition, Food Hygiene, Level 2 Counselling, First Aid and Chair Based Exercise Therapy.

  • My assistant is trained to my own comprehensive in-house training model.
